Welcome to:
Use it up, Wear it out, Do Without!

We live in a world of more is better.

Have you noticed older people don't seem to have this mindset?  Seniors seem to get it right.
Having recently become unable to work (after working overtime nearly all my life to make the ends meet)
So, it's time to get it together!
The checking account is drained, but the pantry is full.  And here we are.

I am proud mama to two great kids ages 14 and 11.  I'm blessed to have a fantastic hubby of 15 years, and 3 CRAZY dogs.  I am a baby Buddhist and a Unitarian Universalist.  I garden, raise chickens and love to teach.  I coupon and pick for treasures in dumpsters, and get items from Craig's list for free.  I wouldn't consider myself a hoarder-but it wouldn't take too much for me to step over that line.  I LOVE to start new projects and HATE to finish them.

I am starting by inventorying everything in our freezer.  I started this project about 2 months ago, and threw out at least $100 worth of spoiled meat, and there is more to throw out...sigh.  Here's what they looks like right now.

(Yes, I have TWO freezers-We raise our own chickens for meat, but that another post.)
I'm working on finishing projects and this seems like a good place to start.

I'll post pictures of my inventory and clean freezer tomorrow if I can get one of my darling children to help. I also have a really neat sewing project I want to work on with my daughter.

Namaste.
